Have questions before booking your Vienna tour? We’ve gathered the most common ones from our guests about our food tours, private experiences, and small group adventures. From booking and cancellations to dietary needs and accessibility, here’s everything you need to know.
To keep our small group Vienna tours personal and engaging, we limit groups to a maximum of 10 guests. For larger groups or families, we recommend booking a private Vienna tour, which can be customized to your needs.
For small group tours, subway tickets are not included. We recommend purchasing a 24-hour public transport pass (€8), which is great if you plan to explore more of Vienna afterward. Don’t worry, your guide will help you navigate the system with ease.
On private tours, transportation is included, whether you prefer exploring like a local by public transit or riding in a private luxury van.
Our Vienna tours run in all weather: rain, shine, or snow, so please dress for the conditions. Bring a raincoat or umbrella if it’s wet, and bundle up in winter. If the weather becomes uncomfortable, your guide can adjust the route or stop at a café to warm up.
Our regular small group tours are conducted in English. For private Vienna tours, you can request other languages, including German, French, Spanish, or Italian. Just let us know your preference when booking.
Absolutely. We do our best to provide alternatives for most dietary needs, including vegetarians, vegans, and other preferences. Due to the nature of Austrian cuisine, gluten-free options are more limited, but if you contact us in advance, we’ll let you know what’s possible. If you are gluten-intolerant or have multiple food allergies, we highly recommend booking a private tour, which gives us more flexibility to adapt the tour to your needs.

Each small group tour begins at a convenient meeting point in the city center, close to public transport. Exact details are provided with your booking confirmation. For private tours, hotel pick-up and drop-off are included for your comfort.
Private tours are perfect for families, since the pace and content can be tailored for all ages. Public small group tours often include alcohol, so they are limited to adults, except for our Christmas Markets Tour, where children aged 6+ are welcome.
Our small group Vienna tours (max 10 guests) are social, great value, and ideal if you’d like to meet fellow travelers. Private tours offer full flexibility, a guide just for you, and extras like hotel pick-up and customized itineraries.
Small Group Tours
You can cancel or reschedule your small group Vienna tour free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, late arrivals, or no-shows are subject to a 100% fee.
Private Tours
Private Vienna tours can be cancelled up to 7 days before the tour date for a full refund or free reschedule. Cancellations made 7–2 days before are eligible for a 50% refund or 50% travel credit. Within 48 hours of the tour, all sales are final, including late arrivals and no-shows. We’ll always do our best to reschedule whenever possible, depending on availability.
We recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially during weekends and holiday seasons when tours often sell out. Private Vienna tours should ideally be booked at least 1–2 weeks ahead so we can secure the best guides and experiences for you.
